About the sport:
Lacrosse is a fast paced game played on grass and is often described as hockey in the air. We have 2 mens teams, 2 womens teams, 2 development squads and we use players from all of those teams to play our mixed team fixtures.
When trials are:
We have tryouts during pre-season and during the first two weeks of training, but as we know that most people haven't played before we regularly bring people up from the beginners development squad to play in matches.
Can beginners get involved?
We have development sessions for beginners throughout the term and taster sessions during the first two weeks of term.
Why you should give it a go:
We are one of the biggest and most social clubs on campus, we play an amazingly intense but fun game, so why not give lacrosse a try!
