About the sport:

Cricket, just come down to training whether or not you have kit, we have plenty to go around.

When trials are:

With regards getting into the university teams we don't have specific trial dates. We recommend that for anyone interested in being involved with the university sides to come down regularly to the weekly club session on Tuesday from 4 til 6 in the sports centre. Then if they impress they shall be put into one of the weekend squad sessions where they are in a great position to play for the university teams come the summer term.

Can beginners get involved?

Of course, anyone of any ability can join UYCC. We run the mid-week club training session that is open to anyone who wants to get involved, whether they be a total beginner or someone who's played for years. We have even had a few social members join us who are just keen to be a part of the club, even though they are not particularly cricket players.

Why you should give it a go:

Everyone within the club is easy going and welcomes anyone who is keen to become a part of UYCC. It doesn't matter whether you're an expert or beginner, want to attend every social or none of them, we encourage anyone who would wants to join our cricket club to do so.
