How to get involved with Basketball at the University of York

About the club:

Basketball is a fast-paced contact sport which is played between two teams of five players, in which baskets are scored by throwing a ball through a netted hoop fixed at each end of the court. Two men's teams and one women's team compete for York in BUCS.

As well as the University basketball team, each college has their own team who welcome individuals of all abilities. Each team usually train on a weekly basis competing in the inter-college league with a game every Sunday evening.

Why you should give it a go:

UYBC are a very friendly and easy-going club on campus who train, play and socialize together. Whether you are a complete beginner or an expert in the sport come and join the best club on campus.
