At 2:11pm today Lancaster won the women's basketball 62-27 to win Roses 2014. After spending two and a half days locked in an epic battle, Lancaster managed to surpass the magic number of 163.5.

Despite York claiming early Sunday victories in the men's basketball and the ballroom dancing they failed to hold off Lancaster victories in the archery and women's basketball. Last night York reduced the points deficit with sensational wins in the women's and men's water polo fixtures. But it wasn't enough to halt the Lancaster charge.
