Lancaster state the current score as :

Lancaster 9.9 - York 4.0

http://www.roseslive.com/

we'll accept that surely?

although I'm unsure where our score is coming from?? we forfeited more or have scores come through early?

Thanks anon, they were a bit slow on the update so we added 12 points to the score on their site, will remove it when possible - their score is the correct one

Okay, fixed now, cheers

Good Luck to the women's football teams.

Special thanks to Emily Scott for stepping in to play!

I'm putting my revision on hold to keep up with the updates. (Bailrigg/URY are faster than Nouse at the moment tho!)

I've decided I actually don't mind this as much. Better if you could see the "new" comments above the reply form - just a thought - but I like that it says how many new comments there are :)

Commenting from over here in Bailrigg FM. 13:4 ... and have you seen Vision's blog? Not quite going well yet... :P

@ The Yorker - I hear Henry Foy has all the internet answers, but only provides them to YUM-affiliated media providers...

Loving the coverage, but again must protest the absence of Roses legend Camilla Jenkins and her nonchalant approach to sports reporting.

Above commenters have missed out on my favourite bit of Camilla's rant, which came not in her report, but in one of the live blogs, in which she (rightly) stated that sports bras should have been made a compulsory item. She literally did not give a f*** about trampolining, and I think that is something we must celebrate in this day and age.

i go out for a couple of hours for an exam and it seems all hell happens on the hockey pitch. what did the umpires do wrong??

also, a win in the mens 1s would actually give us the sport since the mens 1s victory is worth more than the ladies 2s victory...

Whats the current overall score!?

Reply

~J Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

Roses Live thinks that it's 42.5 - 15.5 but it's actually 54.5 - 27.5 :) Still lost the day, though!

Reply

~J Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

Make that 60.5 - 27.5 at the end of the day with Lancaster winning the final five matches (and 18 points in the process) and a 10-9 in the indoor frisbee!

Saying what everyone's thinking Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

Oh Jason, you really are an insufferable oaf. If you're so knowledgeable, go tell your pals at the yorker who are a good 30 points behind.

Really enjoying the blog chaps, you guys pull it out every year

Reply

Ali Clark Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

If only there was a contact on roseslive we could let them know the actual score. Works both ways when you don't put up contact details lancaster!

Reply

laxer Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

30 points at that bad if i remember roses of 2008 when we won in lancaster it was a bigger deficit than it is now. Just what for super sunday thats when its all going down! i think it might be a nail bitter!

If people kept their scores up to date then I wouldn't have to update them... The Yorker aren't as up-to-date (though they're the same as Nouse etc. as things stand) but Vision states 23.5 - 9.5.

Apparently the darts isn't actually over, though (sorry about that; I was taking my details from Scan, which wasn't accurate...) so there's a chance that York will finish on a good end :)

Michael Phelps Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

Oi it's tansini, not tasani. And yes it was very much a tactical chunder.

Reply

Mark Spitz Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

And it Michael not Mark (Tansini)

Also I think the boys did well considering they were missing half of their team to exams and have only been back training for a week.

Shame on the Roses Scheduler.

Reply

F Posted on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020

Lancaster won the indoor mixed frisbee (exhibition) 9-5 (it says York won 8-5). Lancaster got a clean sweep on the frisbee first time ever for Lancaster and we're fairly sure York has never done it :)
